Postponements may be granted only for good cause. Requests for postponement must be made in writing and received by the OAH not less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled hearing date. The request should include the case name, OAH case number, hearing date, the reason for the postponement request, a telephone number where the requestor can be contacted Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You must provide documentation of the reasons for your postponement request. A copy of the request must be mailed to all parties involved in the case. If a party needs to make an emergency request for postponement, he or she may do so by telephone.
